one year of photography: a best of

Wow, its been almost a year since I got my camera last January. What an amazing ride this has been, taking hold of a new interest and diving fully into it. I've upgraded lenses, styles, locations and time schedules. I love the variety of subjects I've been able to shoot, from San Marcos sports, to Joe surfing, to awe-inspiring nature that I will never be able to fully capture.

Thank you so much to anyone who has helped me out, whether you've posed, helped at a shoot, made a suggestion, or just viewed my blog. In 12 months, I've gone from 87 views last January to 626 in October with nearly 4,000 total views. Oh and I took 19,992 pictures. That I haven't deleted. I'm excited to see what 2012 will bring.

Here are my personal favorite pictures from the last year. Please enjoy! I would love to hear what people like the most.
