Wow, its been almost a year since I got my camera last January. What an amazing ride this has been, taking hold of a new interest and diving fully into it. I've upgraded lenses, styles, locations and time schedules. I love the variety of subjects I've been able to shoot, from San Marcos sports, to Joe surfing, to awe-inspiring nature that I will never be able to fully capture.
Thank you so much to anyone who has helped me out, whether you've posed, helped at a shoot, made a suggestion, or just viewed my blog. In 12 months, I've gone from 87 views last January to 626 in October with nearly 4,000 total views. Oh and I took 19,992 pictures. That I haven't deleted. I'm excited to see what 2012 will bring.
Here are my personal favorite pictures from the last year. Please enjoy! I would love to hear what people like the most.
My first day shooting:
And my camera's first time on a hike:
A lot of biking occurred:
Sometimes it was cold:
or hot:
The Balladiers rocked Santa Barbara:
A lot of people ran fast and jumped far:
I experimented with some new ideas and went all over town:
I went to Thailand:
And I took my favorite portrait there:
I backpacked across the Sierra Nevada Mountains and camped on top of Mt. Whitney:
There were fun things to document around town:
And I found film!
I went to Santa Cruz Island before school started back up:
And Joe surfed a lot:
People just kept running:
And I started documenting other San Marcos things:
And of course took pictures of sunsets:
Thank you , thank you, thank you for viewing my photoblog now or ever.
